A nice ride today
Got a good ride in this morning. Included some county roads, some 4-lane on U.S. 50, and even a mile or two of gravel road! Totaled just shy of 28 miles.

The I 2 I Tour
This is the first post in the I 2 I Tour.
In about 11 months, I will be retiring from my employment of over 37 years. At that time, I hope to make a bit of a trip, by touring bicycle, from Indiana, where I live, to Idaho, where I'd like to live!
The whole thing is just in the 'idea in my head' stage, so I don't have many details put in place.
I am not a long distance cycler, my longest distance to date is 22 miles. I plan to build on that as the summer wans (cools), and make a 50 mile ride or two.
I may have to upgrade my bicycle. I currently have a great older Trek 820, but would like to get a Trek 520. I will also need to outfit the bike with the necessary panniers, racks, etc. We'll see how that goes.
